My 10 yr. old daughter has been playing with the Roddick Junior Babolat racquet (26.5" length rated less than 10 ounces @ 100 square in headsize)for about a year now and I feel that it is time for her to move up to a regular size racquet (27" or greater). We demo(ed) two racquets, one of which she really liked, the Wilson K Blade Team (104 square inch head size @ 10.2 ounces). Suprisingly, she was hitting with a lot of pop and her serves were consistently in the box. I don't know if this was psychological or the configuration of the head size itself-more forgiving? Needless to say, if she can hit with this type of consistency, then I'll move her up, but, at $199 I feel that it is too much to spend, so I'm looking/asking for any other comparable racquets you can recommend. Thanks.
