The trap doors on the end of the butt caps on some of my M-Fil 300s are either loose, pop out, and in one case is now lost.

    Two questions:

    1) What solution have you found to make the traps doors stay in if you had this problem? I tried a little teflon pipe tape around the edges but it doesn't stay in permanently. I haven't tried glue in case I want to open the trap doors again. I even thought of trying a very little self threading screw but haven't tried it yet.

    2) Since the trap door on one of my 4 1/4 racquets is lost, will a trap door from a 4 3/8 Dunlop M-Fil 300 racquet fit or is the trap door size different for each butt cap size?

Am I going to have to buy new replacement butt caps with new trap doors. It seems a little excessive.

I searched for solutions on the forum but I may have missed the thread.

    Thanks

I think all trapdoors (from one brand or at least the same type) are the same size. It would cost more to produce several sizes.
