Beside being a scammer which is already very bad, this guy is also insulting our intelligence by giving us all his BS and thinking that he'll get away with it.
I hope he is gonna learn a tough lesson this time.

Send Your Concerns to Hoke County

Here are some individuals that you might consider sending emails to, hopefully, turn young Trevor around and save his future.

Please be gentle and courteous when expressing your concerns. You might also carbon-copy young Trevor at one of his eight email addresses including: trevorneumann16@gmail.com.

    Thanks.

I think the issue here is Trev343 thinks he can absolve his debt to Akybo by throwing money at the situation. The terms of the agreement states that he was to trade his APDC for the Pure Drive. While the original APDC was "stolen" it is clearly a fungible good and should be substituted with his "purchased" APDC. Trev, Akybo doesn't want to mitigate damages, he truly just wants the APDC... its that simple, ship him the APDC.

Is it just me or did anyone notice how mark's APDC was sent to Trev343, but was never "recieved"? Then all of a sudden Trev343 had an APDC to trade with Akybo? Suspicious if you ask me.

On a side note... I have to breathe a sigh of relief. I saw his Post and was thinking about shipping him my Pure Drive for a trade. Good thing I was in a rush and didn't have time to send an email...

Is there anyway soggyramen could get us his home phone number? I think talking to Trev's parents is the most expedient way to get Akybo's racquet back and find out the truth about Mark's Aerostorm.

If they don't cooperate, then we can try the authorities. But usually parents cooperate once they find out their son is an internet thief.

Eh, Trevor is NOT throwing money at the situation. A mere $75 does not cover Akybo's racquet and shipping expense. Just shipping from Romania alone is probably a good $30. If he wanted to throw money at the situation, he needs to go north side of $150.

Even if Trev343 magically comes up with a different APDC that's not the one promised and stolen. This "new" APDC has to be at least the condition promised, the grip size agreed upon, and nothing less than the original APDC for the original trade with Akybo. Otherwise, Akybo is still short changed.

Mark's trade with Trevor was a while back. Mark posted this info at http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=228406 on 10/28. So I don't think this "new" APDC is Mark's that just showed up after the, alleged, theft or thefts. In fact, it is entirely possible, that there was only one APDC all alone and it was from Mark, back in October. Wouldn't that be interesting?

What about the OTHER APDC that Trevor supposedly purchased from Soggy's old shop? Well, whose to say there weren't TWO APDC on the bed? Sure, we only saw one in the photo. But, if we learned anything about Trevor, we know everything has a crooked spin with young Trevor.

(Darn wish we had the holographic technology Harrison Ford used in Blade Runner. Do we really have to wait for another 11 years?)

You're right. I brought up this point on this forum before after some personal experience and incidents reported by other members. Unfortunately we don't always know if someone is a minor or not. Plus, there must be, I think, minors of good standing on this board.

But, you're right. Immaturity and irresponsibility are at heart of some of these trade problems.

Actually he had a refference : http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=187217&highlight=trev343but I admit, even if he hasn't I had still made the trade.
A friend who stayed in USA told me,when I was going to make the first trade here,:"relax man, americans dont do such things(scamming),especially for a tennis racquet".I did the first trade with Tennis2001 and it was smooth.
Still,if I will need to do a trade here,I will do it;seeing all the negative reactions against Trevor,I am positive now guys like Trevor are a minority there and dont make it to far in life;and I preffer to loose more racquets then loose my trust into people.

    Good point, Akybo.

By the way, how much did it cost you to ship the racquet to the US? Something in the order of 100 Leu?

It was 88.31 RON that's 29.52$(I used the converter http://coinmill.com/RON_USD.html#RON=88.31)

ps: I added an overgrip as a bonus it would be only 88RON then :)

If you are a thief at 17 most likely you will be a thief at 40.
IMO it's a matter of values, not age.

It makes me feel good that most of the people in this forum are different...thank God trev is one exception here.

Reading at his posts, it doesn't look like he regrets what he has done, actually I think he is enjoying it. :(

Yes. I know at least two individuals have done so today. However, we need more people to voice their concerns to local authorities. A collective and concerted effort would be more effective.

I sent an email here last night. Apparently this journal is for Hoke. This is their "news tips" link, there are also emails for reporters and editors. (edit: I see Tennisee did include one of the editors at this paper!) I AM going to send a polite but firm email to all on Teninssee's list tonight.

He is absolutely right. It is easier for all these individuals to ignore a few people. Show them that there is a real public relations problem brewing from all over the country and other countries, which does not reflect well on Hoke!

Indeed, 75$ is a MADE UP figure which was not agreed to. Furthermore, he has made no SERIOUS attempt to deliver on even that. He certainly did not for Mark.

There really is no way to know. Remember, this guy supposedly has only AN RDS racquet left!!! Coincidently, the same situation he was left with after dealing with Mark. Gee, keeps leaving racquets in the coaches office....except that RDS! lol. Only 1 thing is certain, he's LYING through his teeth.

Fascinating thread. I've got to start poking around in these sub-forums more often.

My theory: Trevor stole mark's APDC then used it to lure akybo in. Stolen goods used to steal more goods! Brilliant.

i think you guys might be getting a little out of hand
before you contact his school, i think the best thing to do is to contact his mom or dad
because going to the school seems a little too far, plus it would be wierd to have a stranger call the school
CALLING his mom and dad would be a much much better decision
he would get in trouble grounded probably, the parents (if they are good parents) will probabaly have him ship the APDC or something else back to Akybyo, plsu they will probably limit his internet usage, but i am just going off what parents typically do
maybe soggyramen would be able to get the number for you guys
or since most of you are fantastic detectives, you might be able to find it out by matching his address and last name to a phone book or something

I completely agree with this and stated this before. Contacting his parents is the best and easiest way to get Akybo's racquet back and compensate Mark.

yes plus the other thing is
if you guys contact too many people
and he gets harassed too much
parents start to distrust him, maybe friends hear about it
    getting police and such involved
it could go down to a very bad road for him (i m thinking some of you know what i mean)
and you could say he deserves all of it but really nobody deserved to be pestered and harassed for so long, having their reputation ruined and feeling useless

I agree with you. Trevor's parents were what I looked for first. Cross-referencing "Neumann" in Raeford and Fayetteville, NC area with San Antonio and Universal City, TX area, I did identify one particular 41-year old female. However, no phone number or email address were listed. I can't ascertain that she's indeed a relative of Trevor's, and I don't want to put her name out there to inadvertently cause her inconvenience if she's unrelated. Unless we have Soggy's or someone else's help, I don't see how we could get to the parent(s).

Contrary to the female individual I mentioned above, all local authorities and their email addresses are public information readily posted online. Their email addresses are out there because they are supposed to be contacted about various issues concerning their district, their community, and their jurisdiction.

I'd prefer to go through the parents, of course.

I'd also prefer Trevor didn't do all this at all.

    This is ridiculous.

His parents and all people SHOULD OBVIOUSLY distrust him. He is a proven liar and thief and far from feeling guilty about it, he is flaunting it. YES he deserves to be "pestered" FAR LONGER AND MORE INTENSIVELY, as of yet, he has yet to apologize, recant OR compensate for his crime. In fact, he has not even acknowledged it. If he does at least some of the above, THEN we can talk about whether he deserves continuing harassment.

If he commited this crime in his town, not over the internet to a person on a different continent, I ASSURE You he would face true harassment: not emails trying to get the situation rectified.

HE ruined his reputation and IF he feels useless(he certainly seems to be far from that) then he can DO something about it.

You're not the only one feeling this way; not by a long shot. But there's also the issue that he is a minor. That is, his parents or legal guardian should be notified about this. If he were a bit older, I think many of us would have indeed taken much harsher, and appropriate, actions. However we, as a virtual community, are still trying to cut him slacks.

I just hope this kindness doesn't end up giving him the idea that he can get away with such behaviors and victimize more people later on; and if someone did get scammed by him later on, our being soft on him now is to be blamed also.

oh man. i just finished reading from the 1st post to the last & it's a shame to think 4 days have passed since the initial complaint. I keep reading about excuses & harping on wrong addresses - yet no closure on this mess. Those 4 days seem to be plenty enough time to either send money or a racket. I'm trying to stay partial but can't understand how $75 would be offered to akybo as compensation for his troubles when an APDC is available to be shipped - which was the original agreement in the 1st place anyways right? I hope akybo and mark get some good out of this. Akybo said shipping is about $25 right? easy amount to part with to clear this mess right?

Yeah I hope so too. However, I think Trev should be given a formal notice for a certain amount of days before the school is contacted. We could make sure it is fair and that there won't be any more excuses. This way, if any corrective actions need to be taken by the school or other authorities, there won't be claims of "well I didn't know about it" or "I was planning to send the racquet".

actually communism can be a good tool but people mainly abuse it. you know, rations not properly divided, records not recorded. People have the same pay, you tend to do anything you want. tennis player easy. communism kinda contribute to the rise of dreamers for example tennis players.

well, im not a supporter of communism or anything, i live in a capitalist country and am fairly happy wif it.

BTW "genius", what are the dimensions of a tennis court again? Are they all the same? Why to they look smaller on TV. Maybe use a couple of toothpicks prop up your eyes to keep from squinting so much. Oh, was that *insensitive*?

Please Refrain from Making Jokes ...

The only team tennis at Hoke County High is Girls Varsity Tennis. There is no boys tennis. And the Girls Varsity Team's end of season tournament was on October 8, see http://hhs.hcs.k12.nc.us/calendar_month.aspx?id=acc99e47-c809-4928-85ec-00375c76d3f6, long before his deals.

Assuming Trevor was telling the truth (I know, I know), here are some of the possibilities.

    1. He could be referring to a non-tennis coach;
    2. He could be taking lessons somewhere else, say Highland Country Club in Fayetteville;
    3. He might not be attending Hoke County High;
    4. He might assist the Girls Varsity Team coach by hitting with the girls.
I know some of you felt this thread is growing cold as a result of inaction and idle talks. Don't worry, it will warm up again as soon as Trevor claims another victim.
