Please tell me what tricep exercise I can do (for my 1hbh) that won't irritate my shoulder/rotator cuff.

I have been doing behind the neck dumbell raises (elbows pointing up). Not sure if this is irritating my shoulder ... (I am having some shoulder irritation when hitting forehands).

I have only some dumbells at hand.
Any other exercises specific for 1hbh'ers would be welcome.

sit on your bed, and put ur hands beside u, palms flat on the bed, get off the bed leaving ur hands in that position, lower urself down towards the ground and then lift urself back up this really hits the triceps if down properly

If close grip push-ups are too hard for your shoulders, then you've got some messed up shoulders. You can even use the dumbbells as handles on the ground to get more of an emphasis on your triceps.

At least two dozen tricep exercises here for you
    http://www.shapefit.com/triceps-exercises-decline-dumbbell-tricep-extensions.html

Just pick one which doesn't put the shoulder joint in an awkward position. I do the standing one dumbbell tricep extensions. Generally if the exercise allows the shoulder joint to remain in the same position as it is when you are just standing up then you should be fine.

Most dumbell, easy bar, and cable exercises I've used and seen put a ton of stress on the elbow joint, so..if you don't want to do narrow push ups or narrow grip bench press (basically the same movement), you're going to put stress on your elbow.

Hey, I'm not selling anything, and none of this is "my own" anyway. Its all free and they're videos. How else am I supposed to post them?

Anyway, I'm here to help. If you want to check them out, do so. If not, don't.
