Hello everyone. I am the owner of a Prince Ozone Pro Tour MP racquet and I string my own racquets. I have strung probably a dozen different types of racquets and for some reason I nearly always have trouble with my own racquet.

I made the mistake early when I started string my own Ozone with the 'short side' of the racquet. Now my problem is figuring out where to start the skips ( and tie of the knots?)

I searched the internet and these forums but I couldn't find a solution. Thanks in advance for the help.

Woops, title of thread should read "Stringing" instead of "string".

No offense, but Prince racquets are marked very well, can you not see or read the markings? The Ozone is clearly marked with the main string holes, tie off's etc. Has it been repainted or something?

Auzzie and irvin, thanks a ton. I think that will be the answer to my problems.

@86golf, I am still a noob at stringing and was mostly self-taught. If the Ozone is well marked then it has not caught my eye.

^^ You are not missing anything. The holes where you should tie off are well marked but there is nothing on the racket that is marked to tell you where to start the mains or which mains holes to skip. Although this is elementary for an experienced stringer I can see where it could be confusing to a novice.

BTW all the information 'auzzieizm' gave you is not correct. This is not an 18x20 racket it is a 16x18, the mains only skip 8T and 8H, and the racket can be strung one piece or two piece although TW says one piece. I think 'auzzieizm' just copied the information from the wrong place on the TW site. Take a look at the Specificaiton's tab on description page for the Ozone Tour.
