Gage Brymer pulled out with an injury per UCLA twitter.

Qualie draws will probably be out tomorrow night or Monday morning since there are so many slots for people that came through pre-q's.

zoo tennis tweet. I don't think the qualie draw is out because there are too many open slots for pre qualie qualifiers. A lot of names I don't recognize, but those that I do, Austin Ansari of Clemson v Austin Siegel might be the most competitive matchup.

Clement Homs (Texas) vs Konrad Zieba (Northwestern) and Florian Lakat (Miss St) vs. David O'Hare (Memphis) are 2 that caught my eye.

Live scoring and/or video doesn't appear to be working - at least not on my browsers. Matches should have started an hour ago.

It turned out these were the 2 most competitive 1st round matches.

    Florian Lakat, Mississippi State d. David O'Hare, Memphis 6-3 3-6 7-6 (4)
    Konrad Zieba, Northwestern d. Clement Homs, Texas 6-7 (4) 7-6 (6) 7-5

lazy draw updating. Half of the draw is done and half isn't updated.

The Lakat/O'Hare match was really good and could have gone either way. Came down to a few more errors near the end. Lakat looks like he could be a really good player. He's very tall, about 6'6" maybe.

Saw a number of other good matches, some not so. It's the fall season and some guys look razor sharp, others still look like they can improve. Thought of how a few of you would have had a field day covering so many good match ups.

True for such a big tournament. The rain threw a wrench in the gears Saturday. I will say I've seen lots of lazy draw reporting everywhere.

Tulsa received agreement with ITA and NCAA to host this tournament ONLY cause they said they were going to have Webcam coverage. But NO webcam as of yet.

Will they have the Webcam on, once the main draw starts ?

Good win for Oklahoma freshman Andrew Harris against Lopezi-Villa who played most of the year at no. 1 of OD and was ranked top 90 at the end of last season.

We should be used to it by now. Normal for college tennis. And they wonder why college tennis isn't drawing the fans.

I am guessing Cotrone got hit with a 2nd or 3rd Code Violation in the 3rd set TB and defaulted

I feel more like good job for Lopez-Villa to take him to three sets. He is a nice player for sure and the only good player at ODU these days, but Harris can ball!! He was 6 ITF and has like 10+pts. This kid is a stud.

Well I would agree with that if Harris is really playing at his top junior level, Lopez-Villa did really well. That being said, we've also seen way too many 'highly ranked' recruits coming in with high expectation who ended up not being able to perform at that top level.

Axel Alvarez is the better player. 2&0 is lopsided but that's a match Alvarez should win.

Also, guys who are not fully recovered from injury pulled out of the main draw, so guys moved up from Q to main draw at the last minute.

When does the Main draw begin ? Live Webcam coverage is still not functional. This is bad sign for you fans that are hoping to catch some action in Tulsa and see your college favorites play.

He is Latvian, playing at Tennessee, but why would we expect you to follow anyone other than your underperforming Stanford Cardinals.

Same old retread joke Dr. Feddie pulls out this time of year. A few years ago is with Eric Quigley. Feddie amused himself by coining him Quigley Down Under. Another gut buster from the doctor.

Lock and Proskura both playing some good ball. Those two seem to have improved from last year, although both are two of the more under-rated players in college tennis to begin with.

Libietis, Bettles, Andrews, Lee, Scholtz, Wagland, McLachlan, Lipman, Lin, Frank, Simpson, Sarmiento, Alvarez, Hiltzik, Saba, Johnson, Efferding, Contini, Giron, Smith, Styslinger, Adams, Proskura, Alcorta, Quiroz, Reese, Hess, Silverman, Pradella, Spinosa, Kobelt.

The match that most interests me is Frank v McDonald. Still have a hard time fathoming how McDonald made the Masters and beat Mahut and Johnson.

Don't see Libietis losing to Mkrtchian; slight, very slight possibility of Kobelt going down only because of the poor summer season; Grant beating Lipman? No way. Hmmmmm all three happen to be SoCal boys, Hmmmmm a little home town rooting here? I picked Bogaerts to lose, so that's one possibility. The next top eight seed might be Vinsant over Sarmiento, which tennis7777777 picked, but I don't think a SoCal fan would pick that. So help me out here and be a little more specific.
