Is the turntable sturdy and solid while tension is being applied?
    Thank you

Yes it its. If your turntable wobbles you can adjust the set screw in the base where the turntable post inserts into the base to eliminate any play.

The table in and of itself is sturdy and solid.....it will not deflect under load.

I have my 602fc for well over 5 years.......it is rock solid

    Thank you so much
How do you like the drop weight and fixed clamps on the 602fc?
    Thanks again

I upgraded to the 602FC from a Klipper because I wanted fixed clamps instead of flying clamps and the drum gripper instead of the split cam gripper. They work well.

Don't let the fact that the clamps and gripper are composite with diamond dusted plates worry you.....It is a very capable and durable machine.

If you're looking at the newer progression II model, not the original from the 90s, I'd seriously consider the Alpha Pioneer DC Plus before. It's cheaper and has some better features.
