latest 7-6 (8-6), 5-5 Roddick, on serve second set.

Tursunov is proving to be really tough. 14 aces for the big hitting Russian compared to Andys 11 and 28 winners to A.Rods 21.

    5-3 A.Rod second set TB

6-7 Tursunov set point (saved Roddick ace 7-7)

Amazing fightback, Tursunov coming back from a mini-break to claim the second set 7-6 (9-7).

I really think Tursunov is top 10 potential, he played some great tennis against Guga at the Open (winning in 5) and also def Henman at Wimby this yr. Roddick game is clearly suffering from a lack of confidence.

Gilbert thinks he shoule be in the top 20.

Well, he has the break now. Looks like he is gonna take him out like Henman.

1-0 early break for Tursunov. Roddick being dismantled in front of the home-crowd. If Tursunov keeps up this big serving display you cant see A.Rod coming back.

2-0- could be one of the biggest wins of Tursunov's career.

andy will pull it out. he usually finds a way on hard courts. (unless he's playing hewitt, safin, or federer)

I have seen tursunov play at the bronx classic some years agoin new york. He lost to Dr evo in the final. HE was like out aced out of the final. At that point i didn't even think he is top 50 guy. But now that im hearing about him beating some quality players. I gotta see him play and ya... I guess i was wrong.

2-2 Roddick breaks. Tursanov had game point!!

Anyone seen the stats- Tursanov has sent down 42 winners!

BTW, Doubles specialist W.Moodie seems to have found some newly inspired confidence after his win at Wimby. Currently a set up against Greg Rusedski.

    Time to break back!

If he was Hewitt, it would be the C'MON heard round the world.

game over now 3-6 and 2 M.P to save on serve for Tursunov.

7-5 Roddick. Great effort from Tursunov, maybe with abit more experience he would not have choked that 3-1 lead in the third set.

Certainly a danger to any player on hardcourts.

    About Tursunov...
I practiced with a Russian player named Alex (a D1 College in the S. East) at a Futures tournament we were both playing a few years ago. I asked him who he played in juniors and he said he could beat Youzhny at one point. So, I asked if he could beat Tursunov. He looked at me crazy and said NO ONE could beat him in juniors. Anyway...hope Higueras can help him develop, hes an awesome player.

It will be interesting to see if Tursonov can improve upon his now 5 - 5 record for this year in ATP matches.

Henman beat Federer 6 times, so that's sad for the federer trolls. Bandwagon jumpers.
