TV replays, camera tracking the ball back and forth... -.-

Alright, so, maybe I'm the only one who has a problem with this. But whenever the coverage is on the smaller tournament (typically covered by ESPN3) at the US. The replays gives me a headache, it's like watching the Bourne series.

The camera would try to track the ball back and forth, zooming in and out from the far court to the near court. All in all, resulting in a dizzying footage, it's like watching the Bourne series. You can't really see anything, everything is just a blur because of the motion of the camera and the constant zooming in and out.

How do they not realize this?

I'd like to see a camera about 1m above head height behind the returner used more often. The overhead wide angle makes the game look slow, the behind the player is good for a few points for perspective. However, I don't want to see it all match, just a few points now and again. Following the ball is not good as it's not showing the most important part, the players.

Or how about they just have one (or just use the normal TV angle), slow the play down a bit, and use that as a replay?

It's the constant moving and zooming in/out that's annoying.

I'm waiting for the day we can finally choose our own camera angle out of a bunch, like in computer games.

Terrible coverage. Plus I can't understand why the IW or ESPN3 website isn't set up to just tune in and watch. The AO was so easy. This is an American tourney and you can't watch it without paying. Looks like the Aussies have the right idea.
