I'm not optimistic about the coverage for the west coast (or the east for that matter) for tomorrow:
ESPN 2 comes on the air live at 4 AM PST with Mauresmo-Suarez according to their website (Serena-Capriati are playing at the same time but I assume NBC is not letting them show it)
ESPN 2 leaves the air at 7 AM PST(If both women matches end quickly we might see some of Henman-Ancic & Roddick-Schalken live)
NBC picks up coverage in the east at 10 AM EST(they'll possibly show Roddick live & will definitely show Serena-Capriati on tape delay.Either way, the west coast gets nothing during these 3 hours)
At 10 AM PST, NBC comes on for the west, even though Federer-Hewitt will definitely be playing at this time, I have a feeling we'll see that Serena-Capriati match that was shown in the east.
ESPN will be blacked out in the west at this time. According to the ESPN website, ESPN will be showing Roddick-Schalken, but there's chance you'll see some of Fed-Hewitt live.

At times like this, I wish there was PPV tennis with the BBC feed.

Well there's always radio wimbledon and the IBM scoreboard... man, how sad is that! PPV tennis would be awesome!

It's a shame, because the two most important matches tomorrow are, of course, Serena vs. Jen. That will be shown in many countries.

But after that is Fed vs. Hewitt -- the last two Wimbly champions. We should see that over Andy vs. Sjeng, which is not likely to be very interesting, unless Andy is sick or something.

So let's see what happens. I'm on the West Coast as well, and although I'm interested in the Williams/Cap match, I'm most interested in the Fed/Hewitt match.

Let's hope the powers that be realize that that match is the second-most interesting match of the day.

How the hell is Serena vs Obeseati more important than the Federer vs Hewitt?

I'm so happy to have any tennis on TV at all I don't even mind watchng Mauresmo v. Suarez. At least know it will be over soon. LOL Think about the die-hard Mayer or Grosjean fans who will be lucky if they get a score update. I do think they're going to show Tim accdg to McEnroe (J) so that will make 3 or 3 people happy.

This takes the cake. Are there a lot of Americans who want to watch Mauresmo and Suarez instead of Henman/Ancic? They're showing Serena on another channel but that's no better. Quite unbelievable,

Since the Jen-Serena match was only 45min (I won't spoil it), and both NBC and ESPN pick up converage at 10am here on the west coast, which one do you think will show Fed-Hewitt. I need to know so I can set my vcr before I go to work !
