Shark Tank can be somewhat entertaining. Sometimes I'll watch Dateline. When I read that David Foster Wallace was spending time with his parents watching The Wire, before his suicide, it changed my perception. It's not just a tv show but it's like a bible for limousine liberals, an ultimate authority that cannot be questioned. "See? It documents how 'the man' won't let folks get ahead". As a tv show, it's fine. As something to put on a pedestal and worship, not so much, IMO.
