Hello all and welcome to the second match of the 2012 Tennis Warehouse Fantasy Tennis League. This match will include 3 weeks of tournaments. The first week will be the 250 events to be held in Montpellier, Zagreb, & Vina Del Mar next week. The 2nd week will include the Davis Cup 1st Round World Group matches. The 3rd week will include the 500 series event in Rotterdam as well as the 250 events in San Jose & Sao Paolo.

For the purposes of this match, please refer to this site (which has the updated rankings post AO) for selecting your players.

    2. Nishikori (If I can pick him) or Raonic if I can't
    3. Kohlschreiber

Yeah FEDNAD, all I can say is check the links I posted which have the (un) official entry lists for most of those tourneys, save for the DC which is a bit more vague.

Djoker's website only has AO, then Dubai, then IW/Miami.
    http://www.novakdjokovic.rs/tours.php?jezik=2

And Nadal's taking all of Feb off. Fed is on the entry list for Rotterdam FWIW.

And yes, Nishikori will be top 20 after AO, so he's in the 1-20 range. Everyone, use this site when choosing players as it has updated rankings for guys who may have moved up/down post AO.

I'm sorry...I know this is really confusing. Kohlschreiber will be top 40 next week, so you can't take him as your 3rd choice (41-60). Petzchner will be top 60 next week, so you can't take him as your 4th choice. Again guys, refer to the live rankings, not the ones on the ATP site. I know it's confusing, but bare with me here. So your choices as of now are Federer, Raonic, and Querrey. Still need someone 41-60 and 61-80 based on next week's rankings.

    http://live-tennis.eu/

Your 3rd pick has to be someone from 41-60, so Lu is invalid there. You can keep Lu or Mahut, not both, and take someone ranked 41-60.

If you want Dr. Ivo instead of Llodra I will take Donald O Young. I jumped the gun on the fixing my picks - so post him up if you want the once and former evil one.

Actually, now the link is saying Young is ranked 40, so you have to pick someone else.

Just checked it again and Young's still #40.

I know this is confusing. Just pick someone else. Also, wings56 can post his picks whenever he's ready.

I did. But what are we going to do when one picks a player based on that live ranking and then the next day or two (before everyone else picks) that player moves in our out of the range. I think that's what happened with Young.

TBH I dunno. I dunno why Young moved since he hasn't played any events between losing at the AO and now. It's kinda a fluky thing that he moved out of the 41-60 range. I'll try to come up with a better solution should this happen again.

JBF, isn't it time for you or TopFH to make your picks by now since its been a while since you posted the original thread? I only say that for the sake of those of us nearer the bottom as the tournaments start Monday...

^ yeah I think wings56 was supposed to post their picks by 10:20 this am EST. So by rule I believe that oldschoolaccord is free to make their picks now.

My bad guys, I'm slipping. Really busy/stressed, but yes, oldschoolaccord is up. I'll give him 12 hrs from now until his time is up and I'll pick.

    Juan Monaco
    Jarkko Niemenen
    Robin Haase
    Lukas Lacko

TopFH, you're up. wings56 and oldschoolaccord can still make their picks if and when they see this.

Sure thing. The players already taken are:

FEDNAD13 - Federer, Raonic, Karlovic, Falla, Querrery
wrxinsc - Almagro, Chela, Baghdatis, Mahut, Kamke
jbf#1 - Berdych, Monaco, Niemenen, Haase, Lacko

Also, since the rankings on the ATP site aren't updated w/ results post AO, use this site to refer to the rankings.

Are you using the right site? After AO Muller is 60, Kukushkin is 64. So you can have Muller but not Kukushkin since you took Sweeting in the 61-80 range, and you have to take someone from 81-100.

^ It was difficult because so there are many different events, the top guys may or not be playing anywhere (except Fed is committed to the 500 event). And some of the guys I wanted to play had moved out of their ranges due to their results at the AO.

Atp site before it updated I guess. How do you feel about having a live draft that would take a few weeks and starting the season in Indian wells? As is, this is nearly impossible to keep up.

It's not impossible if you guys just follow the rules for choosing your players and keep up with things. Yeah I know it's not easy but that's why you research and take a little time before choosing your players. 10 minutes at most is what it should take to decide on your players.

You still haven't chosen someone ranked 81-100. Now the ATP site is up to date so you can use that.
    http://www.atpworldtour.com/Rankings/Singles.aspx

And yes, kishnabe and Walenty are up, and I'm still looking for someone to fill the 10th spot.

FEDNAD13 - Federer, Raonic, Karlovic, Falla, Querrery
wrxinsc - Almagro, Chela, Baghdatis, Mahut, Kamke
jbf#1 - Berdych, Monaco, Niemenen, Haase, Lacko
TopFH - Del Potro, Wawrinka, Melzer, Nalbandian
boredone - Gael Monfils, Ivan Ljubicic, Santiago Giraldo, Guillermo Garcia Lopez, Pere Riba
oldschoolaccord - Dolgopolov, Verdasco, Muller, Sweeting, Gonzo
Eternity - Simon, Bellucci, Blake, Stebe, Ebden

TopFH still needs to take someone 61-80 since Muller isn't valid and ranked #60.
kishnabe and Walenty still need to make their picks. If you choose someone who's already played today, that match won't count on your record, but you can still choose them.
I'm still looking for a 10th player to replace wings56.

Yeah, its fine. Sela's ranked #73, you have to take someone 81-100 for your 5th pick.
