Thought I'd pitch in my 2 cents on this topic. I've been playing with Fairways on my MG Rads so when I ordered some more sticks, I decided to have TW slap their 22x1300x1.5mm leather grip.

First thoughts: It feels significantly less friendly in my hand than does the Fairway. It feels a little grittier, if that makes any sense. Also, the Fairway seems to smooth out the bevels a little more, whereas the TW grip accents them. It's not quite as comfortable in my hand.

TW's grip feels significantly less tacky when warmed up. I never really had an issue with the Fairways, but I wasn't quite as confident with the TW grips.

Overall, not bad grips (at all!) for the price. However, I don't feel that they're quite in the same league with fairways.

They probably aren't you're right, but how long have you had them? I find that leather grips break in over time too.
