I know these racquets don't have any official TW reviews, but I was wondering if any of you guys or girls had played with them enough to tell me what, if any, differences there are in these two racquets?

I bought one of the VO2 Max versions used on the TT board recently and really like the stick. The specs of the new one are identical, but that doesn't always mean it plays the same.

I would appreciate any insight any of you could offer on the two versions of this racquet.

    Thanks

Did the playtesters play these racquets? No reviews...

I don't know. That's why I threw the question out there. I figured they might hit with some racquets that don't get official reviews. I was just curious about the difference in the TP and VO2Max versions. Specs are identical, which would lead you to believe they are supposed to be the same. Doesn't mean they are though. Would have liked to get some feedback.

    spinovic,

The VO2 and and TP are the same racquet/specs with just a different paintjob.

That seems true, however when it come to the 295, the VO2 is listed at:

    Head Size:
    95 sq. in. / 613 sq. cm.
    Length: 27 inches / 69 cm
    Strung Weight: 11oz / 312g
    Balance: 3pts Head Light
    Swingweight: 316
    Stiffness: 66
Beam Width: 22 mm Straight Beam

    while the 2013 TP is:
    Head Size:
    95 sq. in. / 612.9 sq. cm.
    Length: 27in / 68.58cm
    Strung Weight: 10.9oz / 309.01g
    Balance: 3 pts HL
    Swingweight: 309
    Stiffness: 69
    Beam Width: 22.5mm / 22.5mm / 22.5mm /

Any explanations? All the others: 305, 320, 325; have the same specs.

First, Tecnifibre says the racquets are just a cosmetic update. So when we received the racquets and measured them, they were within tolerances of the original. Whereas the swingweight of the 295 Pro V02 Max came in consistently lower - so we decided to update the specs. Lastly, there is variability across any sample set and we take the average. If we notice that the averages of a cosmetic update are consistently different in one area, than we will update the specs. FYI: we found the beam on both to be right between 22 and 22.5, with the 2013 being 22.27, so it was rounded up.

    Composition of 305?

Both the 305 VO2 and the TP are listed:
Composition: Graphite and Carbon Stabyl Fibers

    all the other TFights (295, 315, 320, 325) are:
    Composition: Graphite & Texalium

    Any explanations?

    Please Playtest The T-fight 320

This is my stick of choice and I've demo'd so many racquets over the years. I really wish that TW would do a playtest of it because I'm super curious what they would say. I have 4 of the 2012's and 1 2013. They are the same racquet, it's just that Tecnifibre changed the cosmetic when they got the ATP deal in 2013. My favorite string for it so far has been a full bed of RPM Blast at 57 lbs. Please TW please!!!
