Do you use the 17g version or 16g?

It's not that durable but no 17g multi is.

I use 16g always. Would love to go thinner, but I consistently break the 16g in 6 hours or so. I can't go any thinner.

By the way, I strung up Ashaway Dynamite 18 soft this past weekend. I played with it for about 45 minutes before it broke. Wasn't a mishit either. Was a clean hit in the dead center. String was not marred or damaged or anything either. That's just about how long 18g lasts for me (well to be fair, probably closer to 2 hours with most other brands).

I strung up Dynamite 16 last night. Interesting string.

importantly so. String is actually a critical equipement just as much as rackets. Some strings go well with certain rackets and some do not. Perfect example is Pure drives for some reason don't go well with RPM blast but goes great with Proline X. Yonex rackets go pretty well with RPM blast.

Haha I know that Nostra, I'm just saying that I've been buying string from TW since I was in my teens, and only just now have they started posting loads of string reviews (of strings that have been out for a long time and need reviewing). Love it! :)

    Hi netguy,

I'm not much of a string breaker. I typically get 3-4 weeks out of a 16g multi (my usual choice over 17g), so about 15-20 hours. With that background in mind, I had no issues with the durability of Professional. It wasn't fraying on me (one of my pet peeves about some multis) and wasn't notching excessively. I think durability was average with other multis, and string movement was excessive compared to other multis either.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Tiffani, TW
