Just curious if anyone on the TW staff is also a racquet tragic with an extensive collection? I saw the vid of Chris using the old Prestige Pro and got me wondering if he or anyone else had a stash?

I believe in one of the YouTek Prestige review videos Chris had a whole line of older Prestige line racquets.

I do like me some Prestige Mids.

I no longer hold a private collection of sticks, instead, the TW test crew has a room we fill with racquets we want to keep around for hitting. Often we keep older models so we can compare them to the new version which will inevitably come out. Other times we keep old racquets in there just because we like to take them out and hit them from time to time.

Would you like us to post some pics?

    Cheers,
    Chris, TW

As do I. I'm currently on the hunt for PC600s and i.Prestige Mids. Wouldn't mind snagging a few of the Prestige Pro frames either.

Any idea on whether or not Head will do a playtest for the IG Prestige line towards the end of this year? I would love to get in on that one.

And please do post some pics of the TW Playtesters' Racquet Room!!!

I seriously want an older Prestige Pro but I can't afford the extortionate prices... :(

Tell me about it. Any of the older Prestiges are getting ridiculous.

I know! Sometimes there are some good deals to be gotten, my prestige classic and prestige tour were fairly cheap and I have seen some 1st edition prestige pros on the German bay sell for around 70 euros but I haven't won any and there haven't been any around lately...

I've seen decent deals on some PC600s and i.Prestiges. Just haven't had the cash. But some of them are just absurd at $300+

Chris - I see you've been sporting the PC600 in some recent reviews....and a wooden racket, too.

I do recall you guys being able to compare every generation of Prestige mid to the recent Youtek Prestige Mid.

Plus I liked that you were able to compare the kPS88 to the k90 and recent Chinese PS85.

Sharing pics of your test racket stable would be much appreciated! :)

The Tom's Machine in the first picture looks so much longer than all of the other racquets.

We have to keep track of the racquets in our office as they may be needed for video or so a tester can have immediate access. With so many tennis players at TW, keeping track of the racquets is impossible, otherwise.

Yes it is. Hits amazingly well and brings back fond memories of the original which my old dubs partner used back in the day. No firm ETA on that one at this time but it should not be too long.

As far as Vantage, we just started hitting the new racquets so no ETA there, either.

Why you little 'Scrooges'. Keeping the best for yourself, aye? ;)
You should share the great feel of that frame by at least giving us a wee little bit of info! :)

    Very interested in the specs.

Thank you very much Chris for the answer!

    Cheers! :)
