There isn't really any IMO about it, IMO :). Wilson require a higher ranking so therefore, they are harder.

3lowdown, with a lot of these sponsorship deals, there are catches. For example, I believe that once you accept Adiplayer from Adidas, you have to buy a package.

    100 nationally and 6 sectionally,

they are pretty strict i applied when i was ranked 102 and they didnt accept me because i was not top 100. Im sure they could give you some sort of discount if you ask them

Can anyone tell me if Adidas excepts people that arent in their range? I know that its top 25 in your section and top 100 nationally, but if you were like around 40 sectionally and 150 nationaly would they except???

hmmm maybe... whens your next tournamnet? if you do well i would try to get the section up like to 35 or atleast in the 30s and then you should be fine. im sure they would let u in for 150 nationally but i got in with section not nation

best situation for full sponsorship is to start early ( 12-14's) some good companies will give full sponsorship if they see potential. (based on recommendation from their advisory pros) these companies will sponsor you regardless of your ranking. they are in it for the long haul

Just got a deal with Babolat. I'm ranked 20 in the section and was top 250 in the nation. They are giving me 4 racquets, a 12-pack bag, shoes, shirts, hats, strings, and other accessories. Getting in tomorrow hopefully.

Exactly what I thought as well. I don't know of any companies who would offer a full sponsorship to someone with those rankings - with it being Babolat, I find it especially doubtful.

Anyway, whilst I'm here, I think I'd like to ask a question. You know how on most sponsorship application forms there's a box where you explain
a bit about yourself, your tennis, why you deserve sponsorship and what you would bring to the company? If you don't, look at the Justification for sponsorship box near the bottom of this Prince form. Do you think what you write in those boxes matters or will they actually take what you write and add it to what they consider when deciding whether to offer you sponsorship? By the way, I'm not referring to Prince, just tennis brands in general. I just used Prince as an example.
