Does this technology really work??? It says you'll get more power without loss of control??
In the rdx series it has a different name. I just wonder if it works and are there also disadvantages??

This is Bu******! Dont think too much about all these technology-stuff! The companies need to sell their products year by year! So they "reinvent" the tennisracket every year...forget it!
Get some testrackets, go on court, hit some balls and decide, which one you liked best!
Does not matter, if new model, or from years ago!

With all due respect to the previous poster, I really thought the Ultimum made a difference. I found the old Ultimum line to be as comfortable as the PK Kinetic racquets. Those racquets had great power without feeling too stiff; they had great spin, large sweetspots, and good cosmetics. Whether this was the "Ultimum" or not, I cannot say; every Yonex I've used has been great. The best thing would be to demo one to see what YOU think about it.
