Its got a fair bit of polyester in it and its machine wash cold so it may lose its shape, but it does look good and the price means there's nothing to lose.

I just can't believe the Price. Why is it so cheap ? This is a import just like Fila, Sergio tecchini and Ellesses which are much more expensive.

FYI Uniqlo is nowhere near a high end clothing company. Their clothing is very very mass produced, pricing wise it's maybe a bit more expensive than an h&m/forever21 but lower priced than a GAP or J crew. Uniqlo's thing is average material with excellent fit, and mass availability. Trust me I've been familiar with the brand for a very long time now.

Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer, most of it stores are in Japan, I have not seen any tennis clothing yet.

As Nextman916 says above, Uniqlo is anything but a high end company. They're the Japanese H&M, if that.

They do have unbelievable deals - I bought a lot of casual stuff there since they opened in NY. They have been turning really high volume though, so you have to time the visits just right these days;)

There clothing is much better quality than you would expect at their prices. I am a huge fan of their dress shirts, oxford shirts and flannels, all of which rival brands like j-crew and banana republic in quality. Their down jackets are extremely light and fashionable. Their t-shirts are really light, soft and comfortable. Same story for their fleeces and sweaters.

I have been wondering the same thing. I've been using hot for cotton whites, warm for cotton/acrylic colors, cold for linen shirts, and dry-clean for linen blazer. So far so good...

It's nothing more than a Japanese version of the Gap.....heck in some of the larger stores it's like you have Old Navy, Gap and J Crew (almost but not quite) all combined.
Also EVERYTHING is imported now....just check out the label on whatever you are wearing - bet its from Central America or just about anywhere in Asia (tons of stuff made in sweatshops in China).......you cannot compare Uniqlo with high end Italian designer sportswear (can't really call Fila nor ST high end anything now really - you can find the stuff at Target and WalMart or just about any large box stores).

Ahahahaha they would endorse potato sacks if paid enough.........Uniqlo is nice mass produced fairly priced stuff.....nothing more. As mentioned its like the Gap or H&M or Bennetton a few years ago in its heyday.

This is going to sound completely absurd and psychotic but after wearing the mustard colored Uni Qlo shirt today while walking the dog I felt very energetic and captivating and not at all pompous or irregular. I firmly believe this tshirt will shape the future of both fashion and the game of tennis for many years to come. The design and breathability for only $5 is unparalleled.
    Uni Qlo is truly remarkable.

What do you mean? When the washer is connected to the faucet, it's up to the washer to decide if the water is running or not.

I have a few. Good quality tees. I also recommend their heat tech line. Great for playing in the cold. I wear the heat tech underneath my reg tennis shirt. It's great.

Was walking down Wall Street today at lunch UNIQLOing in my new white tee and the girls were seriously looking at me up and down like I was some kind of prized piece of meaty lusciousness.

First it felt dirty. Then I felt GOATworthy.

    Digging these tshirts a lot.

Hey Jimmy. I will try and go tomorrow. I have more Xmas shopping to do so I will try and hit them up on my way to Barney's. Please post your mailing address here as I can't get pms or emails through talk tennis. You can leave it up long enough for me to copy down. Then you can remove it in case there are stockers looking for you. Or you can sign into my HooHoo mail account and create a draft message. Whatever is easiest and sexiest.

It's the UNIQLO version of UNIQLO. Don't particularly care about other brands when it's so good.

Uniqlo isn't a high end store. Their clothes are quite affordable. Their dress shirts (didn't have tennis - this was Oct for Shanghai, end of Nov for HK) in Shanghai and HK were less than similar shirts sold in the US.

Yep, but "high end" is not always a synonym for high quality, but rather for strong brand image carrying high price tag.

Japanese or any other apparel manufacturer can easily outperform Nike or La Coste or any other high $$$ brand if they decide to use high quality fabrics. Most companies outsource their production to Thailand, China etc. anyway.

Ha Ha...They will endorse anyone who pays them the most. I dont think athletes care too much about the quality of the clothing because they get new clothing almost every event.
