Today I strolled into Ross Dress for Less looking to buy some black dress shoes. And while I did leave the store with a dashing pair of Steve Madden dress shoes for only $35, that is not what this thread is about. I actually stumbled across a pair of Nike C.B. 3.3's in my size. What price you ask? Take a look at the pic......:)

Yeah, I got this exact pair in my size (11.5) from Ross a few months back for $45. I love the colors, and they are very comfy apart from the lack of padding on the inside of the ankle collar.

If that's a legit reduced label that is an absolute steal.

I would never be able to fit that or even find anything near my size at anyplace I go to. (most I'd do is 9-9.5) Great find!

It's legit for sure. I'm going to put them in rotation with 3 pair of 2.3s that are getting a little worn. Was planning on getting the 4.3s so I may be using 3 generations of CBs at once.

We all do it to each other for good humor, nothing offensive.

Humor, a rare commodity these days...

BTW, $16.99 is a steal, I would pick up a pair just because, even though I don't wear 12.5.

How many pairs did you get?

At the outlet recently, I saw 6-18 pairs in various sizes(7-13) at $25-40. i only got 2 pairs of size 12s. Thanks for the find, I'll be on the lookout for this goose of a deal :)

How long have you played with it?
The 1st 10 housr is very painful after that the shoe is still very painful. I
think the plastic drag-on just digs too much into the outer ankle.
I had to insert 2-4 88cent foam ball of foot pads in the outer ankle area and do some hand/paper breakin too. It took alot of work(2 hours) to get to be an all day comfortable shoe. These have become my running shoes too. :)

That's 'cause almost nobody has such huge feet! Try get those in size 10 for that price! I guess it's a trade off; huge, lumbering feet for cheap, reduced trainers :D

There is some sort of plastic piece digging in to the side of my foot. Same exact thing happened when I tried the Barricade 6's (which caused me to switch to the CB 2.3s). I new these shoes were more narrow than the 2.3's. I thought since they were a half size bigger that I could live through it. Not the case! They are also very heavy.

A few months before your post, I bought some 3.3s reduced at Ross. I'm an 11.5, medium width feet. I agree they are heavy, but break in was a breeze for me. Only pain issue has been the ankle collar which digs into the inside of both my ankles. I solved this by lacing them loose at the top. Other than that, I like them much more than I thought I would, though I'm almost through the toe. Lastly, Nike need to do something about the laces and tongue- they are way too short and I'm going with B7s not 4.3s as they have al the same faults.

Sorry to hear that your "unreal find" turned out to be a "real pain" on your feet :(
