I see where the confusion came from. When 5263 was doing the Smart Targets thing, and cheetah and I was supposed to hit, I sent him some link through MTM or FB or something as over the years I knew who he was through indirect references by others. cheetah somehow remembers that as being a video link. It was not.

Maybe way back in the thread. I'll put a good foot forward.

So TLM, I think your strokes are very consistent and with a few adjustments that were mentioned earlier in the thread, you probably are going to be able to take your game to the next level. For you, it is just a few tweaks, I think. Good stuff.

I appreciate the comment, but it's really no big deal. I hope you and the other guys are better than me. Heck, that doesn't make me worse in any way and I'm happy for you. I go out and play every week and have a blast playing very well, so I'm happy if you guys are out there experiencing the same thing or even more! In fact, that is why I post on here...to share tips and instruction I've learned that helps me play better.

I think that is what some don't understand about those who have actually done something and have those accomplishments. No matter how they spin it or insult you on your personal appearance....it doesn't change what you have done or what you do everyday

cheetah was making it up as a joke. He doesn't know anything about your personal appearance.

Well he got me right between the eyes on that one. My biggest goal this year is to get back below 200. I'm down about 12 from December and trying to be slow and steady so hopefully I can hold it down for good with the change in eating lifestyle. Looking to avoid the tough diets that get you there, but are hard to maintain. Crossing age 50 has not been kind to my weight, but I'm working to do better!

I'm sure you're not alone there. How many of us here are in peak physical condition? How many of us don't need to improve some facits of our game?

That's the whole point of this place.......for us to help each other improve...as a group.

I bet we can do it! and from there, who knows, maybe we can trend down a bit more. But I thought 200 was a nice round number that could make a big difference in how I feel and move on the court!

Guys - my fitness pal and a fitbit are your friend.

I am very muscular now, but its lean mass. I have slowly burnt my body fat down and dropped 12 of the "tough pounds" (the ones you don't really have to lose unless you are a health/fitness freak like myself) and am able to do do it simply by maintaining a 40/40/20 macro. If you use myfitnesspal honestly and detailed, you will find the holes in your diet, and the fitbit will help you calibrate the proper caloric intake you should be targeting.

Or you can do what I do and run 3-5 miles a day up a mountain trail. Just put your headphones in and go. Guaranteed to keep you in good shape and it's relaxing IMO

IMO, TLM has nothing to worry about if he could hit like that in matches and run. Look at his shots, they are all in with lots of topspin and pace.

You didn't look hard enough on that site. There was video there. A youtube link and I had the video bookmarked for a long time.
I'm not the one here who 'makes things up'™.

I think the best thing tlm should do is just watch Youtube videos of Novak Djokovic at least 30 minutes each day. It definitely helps since he has the best groundstroke technique on Earth.

If I decide to post a vid or not is fine and up to me, but do you realize that for you to continue to promote the idea of this weird stalking and such is outside the rules of this forum and it's intentions about protecting privacy? You are starting to look a bit obsessed and like the guy JackB had to deal with...

I second this. I used to watch a lot of Nadal video. I mentally trained to have the ball rhythm.

Nadal is good too, especially if tlm wants to be a grinder. Djokovic's game is more technically sound IMO.

Agreed. I also think he should change the way he holds the racquet. That position he has at the end of his takeback is not conducive to an across the body swing.
    Don't you think?

Yeah, maybe change to a more conservative grip like a SW.

Change his grip? His grip doesn't look too extreme. Actually, it looks like Djokovic's.

That's why I said 'change the way he holds it'. I haven't looked at his vid in a while so I forgot what his actual grip was. I just know that the way the racquet is lined up just before he swings forward is off. Maybe it was his elbow or something. I have to watch again..

Take it from the expert - they're both 4.0's. The one on the far-side is a bit stronger.

I'm in agreement with Mr. Lim on this point. You can learn a lot by just watching over and over. I think there are even studies that show if you imagine yourself doing the shot you perform better than people who did not. So i would watch, play and imagine when you are falling asleep at night.

Think of how dancers copy their instructors.
