I know there are several on this board who play with a leather grip and without any overgrip. Do you buy the same size racquet as you would if you were using a synthetic grip?

I normally use a size 3 (with synthetic grip) and use a tournagrip to achieve my ideal size. However, I recently got a PS 6.0 95 (with Fairway leather grip) and found the grip to be much too small. I want to play it without an overgrip so I think I'll have to buy a size 4.

Do you guys also buy a size up from your standard size?

I use an L3 racquet as well. I use leather grips and I just keep with my standard size.

for some, a leather grip can actually feel larger than the synthetic..they are harder and dont compress nearly as much making them feel larger when you squeeze them....a less squishy grip may feel larger than a more squishy one.
