Thank God, one more QF and one more in the record books.

The serve was not on today.

Its been a while since everything in his game all clicked. It is to his credit that he is able to come through matches or put a great show against the top guys even with one or two key components having an off day.

Way to beat a baseliner: 35/52 net points won within just three short sets. Looking good!

You never liked Djokovic, you just liked him doing something that Fed was never able to do. Owning Nadal.

You stopped liking him when he started doing the same thing to precious Federer.

Federer admits to changing his warm-up strategy, i.e. throwing junk and going for winners.

    What a pathetic tennis troll.

How do you know others mind? Every Roger Federer fan doesn't live in the perennial fear of Rafa overtaking Roger in slam record and the GOAT discussions that happen in TTW. People, except for some rotten apples that you see in every fan base, have a life outside. And not every thing revolves around their own hero. For the record, I never said or believed Roger is a GOAT

I like Djokovic more than I like Rafa or Murray. That doesn't have anything to do with Djokovic beating any player. I don't expect you to understand this. However, that poster has a point. You make any neutral guy hate Djokovic more than any obsessive Rafa or Roger fan can make someone hate Rafa or Roger.

    I find you hilarious

I certainly don't agree with the assessment, but how exactly was it racist?

EDIT: Never mind, fallout from another thread. Carry on!

    Echo the sentiment.

Same with Sampras . Used to like him so much and now because of his fans who do not accept truth have developed an aversion , as strange as it sounds.

At times I feel, Federer, Nadal and Novak suddenly lose all form and dont win any majors from here on.. This place will be totally different from what it is today.

That was a pretty good performance from Da Fed. pleased to have watched it.

Of course there will always be trolls to dismiss Bautista-Agut, but in fact the guy played pretty well. If it weren't for his bad luck of bumping into Fed in near-to-FedGod-mode, the outcome of this match may well have looked a lot prettier for him. Good performance, good run at this year's USO, well done Roberto!

Now here's me hoping for Fed to keep up this level of performance as well, as I think he's going to need it in order to defeat a truly on-fire Monfils. :)

Yeah it's strange. I was just rewatching Fed-Djoko at the USO09. He hit so many dropshots on shorter balls etc. It was amazing. He really used it to great effect that year. That being said. The USO is not the most rewarding surface for a dropper.

A 31 year old Federer took peak Djokovic out and got to #1...Obviously he is going to be better at 27 years old than Federer at 33...I'd like to see how many players will "own" Djokovic when he is 33 years old...

I'm a fan of tennis...Sure Fed is my fav player but I can appreciate other players unlike you.

Djokovic beat Fed in the 2010 and 2011 USO SF and several times after that too but that never bothered me...I like Novak's game but your arrogant posts are making me hate him. You're single-handedly forcing me to dislike him.

    and it's not just me...

Federer would prefer to take advantage of playing him. But same old story, Nadal is never there when you want him.
