I have a friend coming in town and we are considering going to the US Open on Saturday Sept 7 which would be the men's semis. Any idea on how to get tix, are the stubhubs of the world my only option meaning paying $500-1k for a decent ticket? Thanks.

I think a certain number of tickets are released each day. Get there early and stand in line.

You should use the USTA resale site - USTA members get daily updates on available tkts and allow for selling and buying seats. I unloaded some of our extra Ashe court side box seats for about $950 ea today for the qtrs.

Today they were listing seats for next Fri, Sat, Sun and finals on Monday. Seats for semis are running about $275 ea for 300 level and those in 100s running around $1200 +

Thanks for this info, from your experience is a say $500 ticket in Row A of sideline lower promenade (309-313 or 329-333) a better deal than $1200 for loge seats anywhere?
