Combination of cold shower, cold beer and a puff of cigar is quite unbeatable! Not to mention being able to do it day by day, week after week playing tennis and riding a bike!;-)

This Johnnie Walker at Heathrow, at 55.8% is awesome, yes! [in proper blue bottle instead of the regular greenish-blue]

This is actually better than Macallan Estate Reserve exclusively [both] for travellers.

Should I watch the Super Bowl or enjoy a bicycle ride in the Berkeley hills?

It is doubtful that Albert Hofmann enjoyed the world's first LSD trip while he rode his bicycle through the Swiss hills.

^ I was once mugged, too. They snatched some fruit from me on the terrace of our office.

They usually snatch food (bags, lunch boxes) etc and not money or crystal meth.

Say, Mike, are you aware that Kirilenko has got married. Heard it on the forum.

Good to hear Walter could conduct business as usual in Delhi without hiring more muscle to protect against primate attack.

A seemingly large animal has burrowed in my yard, with a big entry and exit area from its shelter. I suspect that it may be the culprit that likes fallen oranges.

It took me several drinks to finally realise something about myself. So despite the hangover I actually feel really good about myself!

The theory of Avogadro's number was based on atomic hydrogen but later refined and redefined as Avogadro's constant standardized on Carbon-12.

In the battle of unreliable backhands, I would take Johanna Larsson's over the one of Coco Vandeweghe, for sure. It is amazing how often Coco sprays, off both wings, everywhere and anytime.

MOMA is great, but I have not been there for many years. Ironically, considering that I spend most of my time these days in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have been to Musée d'Orsay many times since my last time there.

Well for the good folk of New York and visitors, can I suggest a visit to the Nicholas Roerich museum. A modest but hidden gem and roughly on West 110th or thereabouts.

Based on what happened yesterday to my friend, if you're a girl at a nightclub you will almost certainly have your wallet stolen at least once.

I once partied with some Russian guys on a Silja ship going to Helsinki. One of the guys, who I didn't know, said that he use to pickpocket people and steal purses, but it was ethical because his group would send everything back to their address, except for the money and credit cards, and if the person was a tourist, his group would send the rest to their embassy.

The guy was very, very drunk and showed off some of his techniques. He said that he is now an "importer" of cars to Russia.

Denmark is better than Sweden in pretty much every way, except for hockey and tennis.

My workplace doubles as a nightclub, but ever since they raised the age limit from 18 to 20 and over, customers have been shying away. Even on a night like this when it should be loaded, I see seven guests in the main hall. Shame really. Placed used to be loaded by this time before.

Yeltsin loved tennis, always hit the ball as hard as he could, and counted on his opponents not to call the ball out.

Putin is too busy stealing money to care about tennis. Some say that he is the wealthiest man in the world, with assets stolen from the Russian people. The only thing that is known is that he has a funny walk.

I generally don't like watching awards shows, but watched the Academy Awards last night, which I mostly found boring. The sad thing for me is that when they paid tribute to the people who passed away last year, I learned that a guy I worked for as an intern the summer before my last year in college passed away. I was taking that in, and then I saw the name of the guy I worked for the summer after I graduated.

Jim Morrison once walked around Amsterdam with the band, consuming any drug that the fans handed him. When he passed out and was sent to a hospital, Ray Manzarek did two sets as the lead vocalist. It is said that Ray did a great job.

I will multitask one day soon...a new bicycle shop has opened less than a mile away and in the same plaza as a wonderful Indian restaurant that serves a $8.95 lunch buffet. Time to service my two machines!
