I grew up in an environment of social discontent, political instability, and high crime. When I was school boy, friend gifted military-grade spray based on CS and other powerful things, for self-defense. Drinking with neighbor boys outside, got talked into testing it. Sprayed on own hand, held close to nose, bad consequences. So it was clearly highly effective, but that was the only time I used it.

There is a global ant supercolony, present at five continents.

Some aunts own property on two continents where they do not live, fail to maintain property, and refuse to sell due to sentimental value.

Yet it does not estop aunts from claiming sentimental value.

I'm feeling very very sad. I was in Narita Express train from Yokohama to Narita Airport Japan when all of the sudden the train stopped and there is an announcement that someone had just jumped from a platform onto my moving train. We stopped for about half an hour or so, and when I got to final destination, I went to look at the front of the train, it was completely dented or squashed in deeply and I could still see blood eventhough cleaners already cleaned the train when we stopped half way. I didn't bother to take pictures because I was to upset.

I searched for news about it, did not find it, but found one news of similar kind of accident on Narita Express train... I am really shocked.

If any of you are feeling hopeless, stressed, lonely or desperate, please seek help. Just a simple talk with someone is a good start.

I don't have any desperate moments, but if I did I just chant the Vortex Mantra for eternal happiness: "coach grabbed my bawlz". I can't tell you how embarrassed/self-conscious people become thinking I am laughing at them.

What's it like to live in the worlds most polluted city

    http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2016/04/160425-new-delhi-most-polluted-city-matthieu-paley/

From the skies above to the ground below, Delhi is polluted. This Indian territory, which includes the capital city of New Delhi, is half the size of Rhode Island, and is home to twice the population of New York City.

Beijing, China, often makes headlines for its polluted air, but a global study of air pollution in 2014 by the World Health Organization found that Delhi’s air contained several times more fine particulate pollution than Beijing’s. By most measurements, it’s the most polluted area in the world.

To get a glimpse of what it’s like to live in these conditions, photographer Matthieu Paley spent five days walking across Delhi. Through his photographs, we see the physical results of intense urbanization, density of cars, and the practice of burning refuse. All contribute to the thick, yellow haze over the city........

India and China have some serious pollution issues. Any global efforts to combat pollution have to include all the major polluters in a substantial way. Of course, every nation must do as much as possible and it can make good business sense at the same time.

Be thankful that your friend was not gifted a cyanide gas gun. I once had dinner with my Dad in San Francisco's Chinatown, and told him about having my drink spiked in Europe; he responded something like, "You're still here, aren't you? You're lucky it wasn't cyanide."

    CYANIDE GAS GUN

A gas gun similar to this one was used by KGB officer Bogdan Stashinsky to assassinate two Ukrainian dissidents — Lev Rebet and Stepan Bandera — in Germany in 1957 and 1959.

The gun, which Stashinsky concealed in a rolled-up newspaper, exploded hydrogen from a crushed cyanide capsule into the victim's face, causing him to go into cardiac arrest.

Stashinsky later defected to Germany and confessed to the crimes.
