I really enjoy the feel and the durability of Ashaway strings.

I shoot really hard and my strings usually last max 4 hours.

Since I use the Ashaway , I never break them, but .. I break the others (I use a hybrid combination), I think they are syntetic gut (longitudinal?)

Why is it? Is it possible that in this hybrid system the syntetic gut I use is really poor?

    Thanks

    Is this Ashway Crossfire ..?

If it is the mains are Kevlar, which is an extremely durable string. The Ashway cross is a soft Syn gut. You could try one of the harder Synguts. I use 16g Prince SG with Duraflex or the equivalent from one of the other companies since I buy Ashway Kevlar in reels.

What strings are you using the mains, exactly?

the ashaway kevler should stay intact in an armed skirmish.

i pair it - the ash. kevlar with a forten syngut and it has help up great after hundreds of balls.

Nice analogy. If you want to stick with Syn guy go for a thicker gauge. It will last you a bit longer. If you really want more durability bump it to poly.
