I am currently not playing tennis as often as I would like but I just started running on a daily basis and I am using my BF2s as my running shoes. I am noticing some discomfort in parts of my feet and shins... is this because I just started running on a regular basis or would a pair of good running shoes be quite beneficial?

i think your problem is both, but it would be good to get a shoe just for running....

you are going to be running on the court a lot but it wont be straight forward running...more side to side, and repeated short sprints...

just get a pair of running shoes

Proper running shoes are a must for running.
