Two AeroPro Drives (old model, no Cortex)
Ziplock bag of rubber bands (cheap dampeners)
Two water bottles (one frozen, one not)
    Hand towel
    Fourteen (!) used tennis balls
    One can new tennis balls
    Bolle sunglasses
Six cloudy, clumped together Jolly Rancher candies cemented to the bottom
Two hair clips, three ponytail holders
$1 (need to get to the ATM, clearly)

Six prosigma overgrips (best overgrips ever!)
    Contact lenses and solution
    Extra socks, headband and wristbands
    Four half-used packs Kleenex

No wonder this thing is so heavy!!

Are the Jolly ranchers some sort of epoxy substitute for repairs or weight distribution change?:)

No, we took my tennis bag with us on an airplane trip to visit relatives. My son must have squirreled the Jolly Ranchers away, having lifted them from grandma's candy dish. He then must have forgotten them. I know it was him because three were red and three were blue, and those are his favorites.

We took the trip over Christmas 2008.

I'm, erm . . . not not big on cleaning things out.

You guys all have Bolle sunglass. Is that brand the best for tennis sunglass?

Bolle sunglasses with the competivision lenses make the ball color "pop"
I prefer them over other sunglasses.

I don't know. I used to have a $20 pair of no-name sunglasses that were awesome. I left them on a court one day. I kept trying different pairs to find something as good, but I couldn't. Everything I tried kept bouncing around on my face when I ran.

I went to a sports store and paid $$$ for the Bolles. They are great, but I rarely wear sunglasses to play. They just sit in the bag, just in case.

I usually have a "couple" of essentials: 2-4 racquets (currently nTour Twos), towels, dampeners, overgrips, wristbands, spare change for drinks, bandages, sunscreen... *maybe* some balls (on a good day)

Optional (if I'm going to be playing more than one match in a day): x-tra shirt(s), socks, shoes, overgrips, advil...

I can't believe the amount of stuff some of you take to the courts with you! :)

I think it just looks like more when you list it as pretentiously as I did. Just got a little carried away. Two rackets, three used balls, sunglasses, bandaids, sunscreen, hand wipes, towel, tennis shoes, socks, overgrips, string, club card, ankle braces, head and wrist bands. That doesn't look as scary.
