Pretty much except for the mesh where I went black to white fade. I'll post pics tonight since I'm at work.

Well $1,700.00 and 10 pair of Vapor 9 iD's has me feeling good. Thank god for Christmas Bonuses. Times like these I love my job. I had RF as the initials on each pair, now I will order 10 custom made clear shadow boxes to display these in as they will never be worn ever. They shall sit on my wall of Tennis untouched forever. So glad Nike did right by the colors except for that "White Lime" wonder what it looks like in real life? A Nike rep called me to make sure my order was correct and that I in fact meant to order 10 pair, I LOL'd:

I'm not sure what to believe. Either:

    A. You're super rich
    B. You're an idiot
    C. You're joking

I did, but I decided against it because I thought there was too much orange in the middle of the shoe. And the white swoosh helped the shoe stand out I thought.

Lastly, I can't explain it but the orange swoosh made the shoe look "cheap", or "dirty". Whereas the white swoosh helped with a cleaner look I thought.

My favorite vapors were this year's French open style, and I can not find them anywhere. But it is very good to know that I could make the exact shoe on id!

Also, does anyone know how long the id will last?

Although I can't post a pic, I want to do a tribute to the Mac Attack shoe from the 80's. Grey and black....

Interesting about the differing widths. Anyone know if the 'athletic fit' is the current retail width and the wider one is just that, or is the wide fit what's currently retail an the 'athlete' fit a more narrow version than current retail?

And: does Nike ever hold sales for ID shoes? Any chance of a post X'mas sale of any kind, or something down the road?

The color options for these suck! The whole upper can only be one color except the inside triangle parts! I was really looking forward to making cool colorways but the fact that most of the shoe is just one color ruins that

Not really a fan of these colors. All I can put together is something really basic like white with very few accents (Wimbledon esque) or all blackish with very little accents as well, like those Bred's. The colors offered just don't look right. Not worth the money IMO.

Well I'm by no means "super rich", I could possibly be an idiot lol, and I'm most def not joking. I made 10 color combos all different. When you get a $3,000 christmas bonus you tend to go a little crazy lol. I love my job. Not sure how many of you seen my pics in the "post pics of your apparel" thread but i believe some reffered to just part of my Nike collection as "epic" :)

How does it works for Nike? Is it possible for them to add more colors down the road, or does it means those would be all the color combos for good?

I agree with the posts about the colors being a bit off. At the same time, I'm going to order a couple pairs...black/red...and black/blue.

It looks like their colour option philosophy was such that they didn't want people being able to make their own variations of most of the retail colourways they've got planned. You can't do different coloured uppers, heel section and toe guards - they are all the same.

I can't see how this has made it any easier for them at the production end since they're all different materials. Perhaps it's just a way to ensure all iD shoes are different to any retail models (upcoming ones at least).

I am stoked they've made a grey upper available. There are not enough shoes out there which have grey as their base colour.

Similar idea to Rusty's, with slight tweaks in the id spots (having a bit too much fun messing around with the tool and designing different kicks).

This one is inspired... and I don't even think it needs to be for a female either. Cool colour combo. Pity they don't have other midsole colour options.

Those are cool. It seems the best looking one's have a predominantly all white body with few accents. My only problem is paying $165 for a all white shoe that's going to get trashed! I guess the only thing that might change my mind is a grass court shoe (needing mostly white anyway) with the nubby sole.

Would love to have it, but $180 on 1 single pair of shoes for me is just way too silly...

AMX, that black and green is awesome. The Fed wimby knockoff you guys posted are my favorite. I am going with that or a black/turqouise combo.

They really should add navy blue and purple as an option.

I have this in my cart on Nike's site...trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger as I can wear these with my dark outfits as well as to work when I want to wear a casual black shoe.
