I got 3 different kinds of Prestige Pro, 2 made in Austria and 1 made in the USA as per my previous thread/compilation:

    http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=268388

However I noticed some differences in grips and stickers on the original Presige Pro. Apparently the original one came with with the sticker and the later version came with a stencil, similar to te one of Elite Pro and Elktra.

Now, I look at my compilation and there something missing. When did exactly the original Prestige Pro came out and what was its original look, the color of its cover and grip? The full-size cover I have is dark olive green but then I have other covers. It would make sense that Made in Austria version would come out before Made in USA, somewhere around 1986. Please, confirm.

The oldest brown PP has AMF Head on the buttcap, and mine came with standard bumper guard tk10 (no cap) weighting at 350 gram strung

Interesting enough, the oldest TXP also weight heavier over 360 gram strung than the later TXP batches

hmmm, I've never even heard of it ....

I was under the impression that the first PP came out with a full C.A.P. grommet right after TXP like the 2 PP on the bottom. They had a sticker about optimal vibration control and AMF on the butt cap.

The later PP had a stencil instead of a sticker and a Head logo on the butt cap. The later issues, Elite and Elktra had the same stencil but no C.A.P. grommet for some reason.

Do you have pictures? Are you sure it's the original configuration? When was the C.A.P. put on it?

I admit that I too thought that this originally came with a CAP grommet!

The ones I've seen have always had CAP's even the very early ones.

Can you please post pictures of the opposite side views of your Prestige Pros? I am especially interested in the other side of the top 2 Red Prestige Pros - The USA American flag and the red one beneath it.
