Hi everyone I am currently using an ig speed 18x20 but I feel I lack spin and power. I also find the racquet fairly stiff. So I've decided to look for a new racquet with a good balance of spin, power and control. I am currently looking at one of these yonex`s but I am open to any other racquet suggestions. Help would be greatly appreciated thanks Fed6.1

98D has a better balance of spin power and control than the 100S.

Does the 98 also feel more stable than the 100?

Yes. It feels more stable but i doubt you need the stability unless you vs hard hitters. Their equally as stable when your playing 3.5-4.0 and even low 4.5. At 4.5 you should be using a heavier racquet. The stability just crashes if you don't hit the sweetspot just like any racquet, the 100S has a bigger sweetspot so it is more friendly and forgiving.

speed it is much better in everything than 98D and 100S. excellent stability, good plow through and incredible control. I agree, this stick have lack of power, but 98 or 100 v-core in this regard is not better. try Pro Open or Organix 8 315

I have the Pro Open, Its too much of a pure drive, spin and power without much control. The 100S has a better control and better with slices and a 2HBH.

IDK about the organix. Speed as in head speed 18x20, haven't tried that before.

Nowhere near the control of the 100S. And the Spin on 100S seems better. I tried both with NXT, with the 100S you get more directional accuracy and slices that do not hover. More maneuverable at net as well. The downside is that it doesn't have enough stablility, against 4.5 big hitters, but leading it up to the Pro Opens swingweight will change that. 100S - 306 SW vs Pro Open - 318 SW And this will also fix the plowthrough issue as well. Although Plowthrough is not an issue if you have good racquet headspeed.

And the high power indicated by TW is false. I think they strung with a multi or something. If you string with poly it's power level is low.

I'm currently using an ig speed 18x20 but find it low powered and not very spin friendly. I have used a spin friendly poly but it killed my arm. I also like the pure drive but I would like a bit more control.
