    Hello--
Please check out item # 200023541431 on e**** and see if you guys think that the frame is actually one she used, or was it one that Wilson supplied, and was just signed my Venus. I know the info says it was used during the 2003 Open, but the original owner may not have know it was just a sample frame that Venus never actually used in competition. I thinking she just signed it, and Wilson included a certificate to make it look for official.

The auction was done thru a 3rd party, so emailing "the seller" wouldnt have done any good.

    Opinions?

    Thanks.

    It's DEFINATELY not.

Venus' Racquet had 18 mains, power holes, and only 3 cross strings that went into the PWS.

Hi Bud! You're right about the number of mains but Venus never had powerholes, Serena always had them.

    ooo $#!^

    You're right . . . 4 strings into the PWS, too.

    Sorry !

Anyway . . . There's a better chance Venus used this racquet as a doorstop, than for tennis at the 2003 US Open,

Let's all eMail the Seller and Bidder, and tell them it's hooey.

Even though $74 is not a bad price for that racquet. I think a little alcohol will get that ink off the grip.

Looks like a racket that was advertised by Venus, but not used.
