I think it doesn't really appear to be Venus from the rear...

    May be wrong though.

It is Venus, she was playing with a Prince butt cap and Wilson stencil.

Look at the way her racquet is turned. The "P" is rotated 90 degrees, is it not?

Sideways buttcap? Veeeeeeeery interesting... You'd think she'd have taped over it or something...

Sideways cap seems a little suspicious...photoshopped? I don't see any other Prince racquet photos with the butt cap oriented like the one in the OP photo.

Yes, it looks like a sideways 'P' but it doesn't look exactly like the Prince logo. The Prince 'P' has a distinctive font and it does not appear to be the same.

the grip size number or TM is in the wrong place... plus the paintjob on the hoop is still Wilson.

why would someone go through the trouble of photoshopping it only to get the orientation of the 'P' wrong?

    what a waste of time.

someone has a lot of time on their hands. They woke up and said, "I know, I am going to put a P on the butt cap of Venus's racket! That ought to show em!". Now this is a productive citizen of the world.

That's not Venus, it's that girl from Aggasi's school. She won the Las Vegas tournament... Can remember her name.

The in_line Prince frames are hard to hide. Asia is a Prince player who played at this event and that shot doesn't look like Venus from that angle to me.

Nope. Prince doesn't even make a butt cap with that orientation. Unless you're suggesting they made a special one for her Wilson racquet? Or maybe she has custom grips that are oriented the opposite way of everyone else in the entire world? No.

Really guys? That's what the bottom of a lot of things are called. Ever heard of the butt of a rifle?

It looks like a racket without butt cap to me..

edit: let me rephrase that: I mean a racket with an open butt cap.., so with a butt, but without the cap on it, if you know what I mean..

Guys, if you look closely you can see that the picture is of a silver W butt cap with a light glare that makes a line appear above the W and causes all the confusion.

This picture proves nothing - the image is not clear enough, especially when zoomed in. Let's see a high-resolution photo before coming to any conclusions.
