Does anyone know what kind of customization Verdasco does to his dunlop?

lead tape? string tension? is it a real dunlop or just a paint job? etc...

    thanks!!!

Dumb post. He went into a period of transition, using it during practice sessions but not in a real match as he was superstitious about the new racquet affecting his game. But now he has made the switch and is comfortable with it.

Is he using a commercially available dunlop bio 300t? Or is it a special pro-stock variant of the frame?

He still uses the major bullit and the unstrung sw of 285 is correct.
I talked to the guy who's customizing his rackets so there's no doubt.
Dunlop will pay technifibre so Verdasco can use a paintjob.

He's advertising the Bio 300, not the 300 tour. But more than likely he's just using his old frame.

No, I think he is really using the Bio 300 and it's lighter weight, McEnroe made an off comment about holding Verdasco's racquet and being astonished about how light it was.

Actually we've been doing all his customizing with his Dunlop sticks. He may have had some of his old sticks done by someone else during the transition, but his Dunlops have come through our office. He's gone a bit higher in swingweight now, but that 285 number is pretty spot on with his Technifibres. The Dunlop racquets he's using now are not paintjobs of his old Technifibres.

Verdascos racquet is not the 300. The throat on verdascos racquet is elongated..

    Comparison--
    [IMG][IMG]

And Verdascos racquet is 16x19, which the 300tour is not, it is 18x20. Though the 300tour does have an elongated throat.

From pure picture comparisons and speculation it seems hes using the 300tour mold but with a 16x19 pattern. Which is not commercially available to us scrubs.

Weird, because dunlop stock racquets are great. Maybe their customization service is bad ?
