Currently a Verizon customer, but I'm paying $103/month for limited service. I understand that t mobile has unlimited service for $70/month...so I'm considering a switch. How is the t mobile service compared to Verizon?

T-mobile is great if you are within their prime area of coverage.

If you're a longtime customer you may be able to leverage a better deal and stay with Verizon. My AT&T experience recently was refreshing in that they valued my long-standing account and wanted to keep me when I mentioned I was tempted with lower rates from other companies. VoilĂ ...my total due each month is now $30 lower...not quite as low as the other offers but I still enjoy the superior service and feel good about continuing to reward them through my continuing subscription.

No problem...remember they lose and not gain by a switch in carriers. Use a little honey rather than vinegar when negotiating..."hey, I love you guys and service is great so I want to stay but..."

The only thing Verizon has going for it is coverage. It has worse/older phones and higher or even costs (ie not lower).

If you can get great reception with any carrier (which is not my reality) I would not go for Verizon.
