Ugh I feel like deleting that post...I'll try and get one on a nicer less windy day (really bad ATM) playing a match.

Yeah it is pretty fluid strokes. It's always good to straighten the technique out now.

    Hate your backhand?:p

Nice strokes, do you ever hit closed stanced or neutral stance? Even when you have the time?

    And the racquet...RDS 001?

yea i was sorta in a forehand mode and my coach threw me a backhand. i never hit with a completely closed stance, unless i don't have the time. I do have a more closed stance on my inside-out forehand, but its still relatively open. i will also close up my stance a bit when im looking for angles and for dropshots. and yes thats a rds 001 mp, ive since switched to the fischer pro no.1s for a while and then the prostaff tour 90.

hey nalbandian fan, where are you from? im from wisconsin too.

  27. Your serve

This is easy. You are doing a classic waiter or waitress serve. Your palm is facing upwards on your backswing which is not how you want to serve. Your knuckles, or the back of your hand should point up. I have a free website at ipodtennispros.com and visit the "Serve" section. You can correct that problem very easily. Just follow Dr. Ben Kibler's throwing motion progression.

Were you getting fed to in that vid? You say your only 4.0 or so, but the vid looks like you hit it pretty hard. I ask because I had a hit today with a chick who could hit the ball better than me in the warm up and then we played a match no points over 3 hits I won 6-0.

Haha well I am a low ranked 18s player, she is a high ranked 14s player if that gives you any indication. It was kinda like a low ranked ATP versus high ranked WTA :p

yea i was being fed to. I do hit almost as hard as that in matches, my main weaknesses are my serve/return, i rarely lose once im in a baseline rally.

K that's good. My point was, this girl looked like she was seriously good, better than me, but when we played a match....well she could not hit more than 2 or 3 shots.

Duzza, I know a really high ranked girl that I sometimes hit with who is exactly like that. She either hits a fantastic winner or it's right into the net. She actually has nicer form on her OHBH than I do! Good thing I'm a two hander!

I think you need to get up into the court with a slight jump perhpas because it looked like you were going to fall flat on your face!

    EDIT:

My strokes, sorry for the crappy quality, just do "fit to original size" or whatever it says and it gets a little better.

you pretty much have no bend at the knees at all
It doesn't seem like your exploding upwards and into the serve as you should be if you were bending your knees

They are pretty good serves, but it seems like you have no stage where you really load your legs so you can explode into the shot. Perhaps thats what the other guy was trying to say.
