If anyone's who has tried both, can you compare please?

Are they virtually the same? ( Both are known to be springy ).

I'm a string-breaker so if the Volkl Cyclone Tour is comparable in terms of feel, comfort, spin, performance, and most importantly, durability, over the more expensive RPM Blast / Team, I would go with the Volkl then.

    Thanks!

Cyclone holds tension better from what I've heard.

I find RPM to offer crazy spin. Cyclone, while definitely no slouch doesn't have quite the spin level of RPM. That being said I find cyclone to hold its playability better than RPM, and it plays a little softer than RPM.

RPM Team has a lot better feel than Cyclone Tour, but Tour has more spin... the tension maintenance on RPM Team drops quite a bit compared to Tour... in all I would go for Tour

I say go with the Cyclone Tour. It's half the price for the same, if not better, performance.

Now that I got to try both, I like RPM blast / team much more than Cyclone Tour.

The main difference between these two strings is Comfort. Perhaps its the Silicone coating on the RPM or maybe it's the Cyclone's twisted design, but the RPM certainly have a more plush feel than Cyclone Tour.

I found the Volkl Cyclone Tour harsh and stiff, particularly during the first several hours of play. Definitely not arm-friendly. Playability and Spin, however, are quite good with Cyclone Tour.
