    Quick question.

What is the suggested weight of the new Organix V1 Pro?
What is written on the frame?

In your sneak peak blog you state that with strings this frame weighs at about 315g.
It is weird because the info on the net says that this model weighs 310g unstrung.

    Thank you for any clarification.

    Have a nice day.

I have several Pro Staff 85s, RD 7s (same grip size) and Youtek Radicals that have relatively large spec variations. Minor changes in weight distribution from factory can result in differences in balance and swingweight (as can string type). This is why pros customize. Players who are extremely sensitive to weight should buy light and customize. Glad to see that some manufacturers are posting ranges for weight.

    Hi Automatix,

The racquet says 305g/10.8oz unstrung. The strung weight of 315g is within tolerances. However, I also saw 310g listed in some places, so we will make sure to get clarification from Volkl on their target weight. However, keep in mind that we provide the average specs of actual samples, so our specs represent the range that you are likely to receive. Ultimately, though, I agree with the above comment. If there is a weight over which you cannot go, your best bet is to call us before ordering so we can pull the lightest one. This gives you room to customize up.

    Thanks,
    Jon

I can't access the TW Review for this racquet. Every time I click I get a "Page Not Found" message.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry about that -- it's a brand new racquet and the review hasn't been done yet.

Keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks.

If Strung Weight and Balance are different, I think that the Swingweight is different too.

We shot the video portion of the review last week, so it should be up sometime this week. The written is in the writing process and will be up on the website in approximately 3 weeks.

Don't worry...we will post it as soon as it's ready!

We did really like the frame! It's an awesome "modern player's racquet", kind of in the same realm as the Extreme Pro 2.0 and AeroPro Drive (in my opinion).

Thanks Andy! How did everyone feel about it as an "all court" frame? Was the touch, feel and slice good?

Good to hear Britt! I hit LOTS of droppers and feel shots and that is a major requirement for me.

Were you good with the power level? I seem to like the same power levels you like. I know it's pretty low powered, but with full multi it's pretty do-able for me.

    JackB1,

I was actually surprised that I got a good amount of power out of the racquet. I was definitely satisfied with the amount of power I received from the V1 Pro!

    Wow...VERY favorable review! Some quotes:

    Andy: "Favorite Volkl racquet ever"

Brittany: "One of my favorite playtests this year"

    Chris: "silky smooth"

Michelle: "Love to continue playing with it...see myself using this in tournaments"

Surprised Jason wasn't in on this one? Seems right up his alley.
