    Main focus:

Best available racquet for my long troubled tennis elbow.

    Comparison:

1). Classic V1: not available for demo
Tour 10 MP GenII: demo, feels great.

2). Classic V1: Volkl web site claim it's the best for arm problem.
Tour 10 MP GenII: Recommended by a few players here.

3). Classic V1 (10.6 oz): not sure. Like to have it around 11.5 oz
Tour 10 MP GenII (12.1 oz): Little too heavy

    4). Classic V1 : $180 (new)
Tour 10 MP GenII : $90 (new, already bought)

Which one would you choose and why?

    Thanks in advance.

I didn't really understand your list, however I've had sporadic bouts of tennis elbow and I have a Tour 10 Gen II on hand for these occasions. I've never let the tennis elbow get to the point where I can't lift (a beer bottle for example), but it has prevented my from hitting with my regular rackets.

My problems goes away immediately with the Volkl. Sorry but I can't compare to the classic V1. I would use the T10 more but I don't like the grip shape.

If you can play well with the tour 10 gen 2 I would have to say it has to be better for your elbow.

These are two vastly different racquets. if one suits your game well, the other one wouldn't. The V1 is very comfortable for a stiff frame..if you need the power it produces over the gen2 than try that one..if you can make as much power as you need, the Gen2 is incredibly comfortable

    Thanks for all the response.

Tour 10 MP Gen II is very comfortable (except it's little too heavy). I was just wondering if Classic V1 is even better.

I also demoed Catapult V1, feel little too light, othewise feel very comfy too.

I have a tour 10 gen 2 racquet and I also have the catapult V1 OS and I would rate the tour gen 2 higher on elbow comfort.
i dont know how the V1 classic compares to the catapult V1 OS but I doubt it can be moe comfortable for my elbow than the tour 10 gen 2.
But like NBMJ says the are at different end of the spectrum so choose on what suits your style best.

Don't let the static weight of the Gen II fool you. It's very headlight and has a swingweight of about 315, which is a lot lower than racquets weighing much less. I've never hit with the Classic, but found the DNX V1 a tad too stiff for my tastes.
