I am purchasing a few volkl tour 10 MP. I am hearing that they will be discontinued and replaced by the V engine versions.

Anybody have any confirmation on that?

The Tour 10MP is one of Volkl's best selling racquets, I doubt that they discontinue it for at least another year at least. To my knowledge there isn't a Tour 10 V-engine in the 98 size. Only 93 right?

The C10 Pro has been around since around '96 - standing the test of time! If you haven't demo'd a C10 Pro you should consider doing so before buying the Tour 10 MP (Both are great racquets)

I think on the Volkl website the Tour 10 MP remains, while the Tour 10 mid has been replaced by the V variant....

The owner of my local shop says the Tour10 MP will be discontinued. (One left on the shelf; no more demoes available.) I was intrigued by the racquet as I like the C10 Pro but don't care for the V-Engine 10. He did say Volkl would continue to offer the C10 Pro as part of their Classic line . . . .

Maybe I simply need to experiment with string/tension and lead to get a C10 Pro where I'm comfortable--just a tad less "whippy" and solid-feeling enough to return those bombs firing from PD+'s.

Not sure if this is true but thought I heard that a 98 in. version of the Tour 10 V-Engine was coming out in June of this year. Don't know what effect, if true, that would have on the Tour 10 Mid Plus but can't imagine that they would discontinue it so soon.
