I used to volley well when i used multifilament strings, but the need for durability made me switch to a full poly job.

But with dead/stiff strings like most of the polys now, my volleys tend to sit up or be too shallow. Any advice as how to volley with these kinds of strings?

I think you need to either stick your volley more or put more spin on it depending on situation.

But try a poly hybrid to soften up the string bed a bit. I had no problem adjusting my volley, but then I am a serve and volleyer.

consider hybrid stringing to soften the crosses but still get good wear on the mains
