I have used Black VS BT7 mains and RPM crosses at 59 / 53 lbs.

Excellent bite and spin. Far better than Weiss Cannon B5E in the crosses.

My BT7, however, did not last as long as the classic VS. I thought the whole point of BT7 tech was to increase durability.

I am going back to the classic VS.

Did you notice if the octogonal shape of the RPM est into the gut?

I hope it has good comfort as I am planning to use it in non rainy days with a Aeroprodrive GT. This racket I find stff when using it with a copoly main and VS gut cross.

Excellent comfort at the said tension.

I usually don't notice those shapes on any polys, as they are all too microscopic.
