Crossed it with super smash spiky, even though this was the fourth cross I've tried with the same mains, it felt awesome. Also crossed this same main with prince syn gut orig., hexablade, titan syn gut, and og sheep micro. The super smash was deadly.

I do the same thing with multi mains. I take out the poly crosses in the reverse order compared to how they were installed; both clamps working from throat to head cutting one string at a time. IMHO it's a viable option to extend the life of a good tension holding main when the poly cross dies.

Kiteboard - How long would the VS mains last since spiky is textured?

It's lasted through five diff. crosses already. But it's a pt57a, flexy frame, with lots of lead: 360g, and the vs has held tens. remarkably well, toning out each time very close to the first cross change. No other string can do that, and the power/feel is awesome. I'd say another 5hrs. left.
