About six months ago I lost my balance while slicing a low ball that missbounced at me and hit my knee cap with the butt of the racquet. After seeing a doctor, as I had a hard time moving he told me to walk a lot. It worked. My question is this the way to go in your experience? I ask as this time I did it again  while goofing around imitating a friends kickserve motion. If nothing is broken, no apparent swelling, just a very stiff feeling in the knee while moving. What else can one do after slamming a 12.5 oz graphite thing in the side of your knee cap at well... I didn't know I hit that hard. Anyone did in other sports? I just don't know why it worked last time and this seems to be exactly the same thing. Any other injuries that let go better in motion. Is it due to blood supply and joint motion?
