    Hey all.

I am too tall for normal cotton Lacoste polos.

I wear size 5 in the sport ones, and about 6-7 in the normal ones.

But when I wash the normal ones they shrink up, and become too short for me.

I was thinking that washing them in cold, and hanging them to dry would help.

It isn't like the entire shirt shrinks too much, as the shoulders/chest are still fine, they just get too short for me.

Any suggestions on how to prevent them from shrinking up?

Lol I had the same problem. I guess you should wash them in cold water and certainly hang dry them instead of putting them in a dryingmachine like you said. I do have one really old one that I can wash in 60 degrees/dryingmachine and it is still fine... All the others are ruined just like you said. They end at my bellybutton almost :)

That's why I stick to the full poly Super Dry Lacoste Polos. I wear a size 4 in those and dry the crap out of them. They still fit like a champ.

I have the same problem, and have found that the following keeps them fitting like you want... For the first 2-3 washes hang dry the shirts. After the first few initial washes I'll put them in the dryer for 3-5 minutes to get some of the wrinkles out then hang dry them. I've used this approach on the last 6-7 Lacoste and Polo brand polos that I've bought and they are all still fitting exactly how I like them

The usual formula is to wash or hand wash in cold water and dry flat in the shade.

I do all my laundry in cold water and hang dry and it works well for all my cotton/shirts that shrink! :) I hope it works for you!

I wash mine in cold and hang dry. All I do if it is wrinkled is put it in the dryer for about 10 minutes with a dryer sheet to take out the wrinkles. I've had no problems with doing that.
