I know some people who use a Thermos Steel Bottle (2-quart) for use with tennis. That might be overkill in your case, but it does keep the water cool if you put ice in the thermos.

I know that Thermos sells some water bottles, but I don't think they have as much volume.

Are you in the U.S.? Every discount store sells 1/2 gallon water coolers for $10 or less. Try your neighborhood Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

Thermos will do a great job, but will add a great deal of weight to your bag. If that doesn't bother you, go for it.

I bought one for $10 at D i c k's Sporting Goods called the Polar Bottle. It's an air insulated plastic bottle (24oz) with a layer of aluminum inside the insulation to help reflect the sun ray. It's about the size of a can of tennis balls. Don't expect the insulating power of a Thermos steel bottle, but it's adequate for a couple of hours on the court OK.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I checked out the USTA site and found a 12 oz thermos. Looks like the perfect size. I don't mind carrying around in my other hand a thermos.
