Yeah, I would guess anywhere from 97-100 sq. in.

    Not that huge...

Actually there were some clear pics last year that showed he was one of the few using a real Flexpoint Prestige...

It looks like it really does have Flexpoints, but the mold is not the standard one you can find in the store. (The racket is different where the Y part of the racket meets the head, I don't know the correct term to call this part..)

    btw it's is a 98 headsize

Edit: ^^ maybe it isn't FP

Im pretty sure i saw a picture of him playing with real flexpoints, maybe that is the reason he hasnt change to a MG paintjob, same thing with Acasuso, i wonder what are they going to do?

i'm sorry but i just refuse to believe that it's a pj. especially with pics like this where you can clearly see the dimples and the flexpoints as oppose to the very obvious ones used by everyones else who used the fp pj like safin, agassi, monfils, etc. etc. etc. so unless head REALLY emphasizes making wawrinka's and acasuso's racquet look more like real fp's than other players for some reason, then they are using real fp prestiges. maybe stan is using a custom frame of an older stick with flexpoints in it though, which i suppose would be possible, but that would be the only way that he can be using a pj b/c those dimples are not painted.

it's not a stock fxp because the throat is not flat where it mets the head. look at the fxp on TW and you'll see the difference.

just because there are dimples doesn't mean they are real flexpoint holes.

The bevels are so pronounced in the first pic, it almost looks like he has an overgrip on a bare pallet.

If it is a real fxp prestige, and it looks as if it is, then I doubt he's gonna get a MG paintjob. I really don't see how they can paint over the flex pts.

he uses the flexpoint prestige mp which is not flat where it meets the head like the pc600 or the other head mids.

The Flexpoint Prestige Mid Plus is Flat where it meets the head just like the PC600.

you could sat the same thing about painting over the ridges on LM rackets but look at all the players doing it and its not really that obvious

My bad lol, the fact that one could paint around the flex point hole slipped out of my mind haha

wow now that I think about it, it would be really easy to give a pj

My Prestige MP looks just like the one on TW pic, but not Wawrinka's, people are right, you can see on his racquet some caving around the throat and head area. And also stock Prestige MP is oval and his racquet looks very round. BTW, holes are not see through on stock Prestige
So the question is, what the heck is he using?
