Have been a long time fan of Yonex clothing. Last year was the first year in the past 8 I didn't buy any of the shirts. I simply didn't like the look of the shirts. From what I has seen with what Stan is wearing this year could be another suckie one. That shirt looked bad. Who in their right mind puts the zipper on the side of the neck? Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I hated that shirt too, but the one he wore in last year's aussie was really beautiful.

Also a loyal yonex guy, I liked some of the shirts last year the FO was nice I thought but could do without the zipper....never been a fan of the zipper in tennis shirts.....but totally agree the side zipper idea is kinda a downer for me. Hopefully their summer gear will be better.

OK I take it back. TWE just added the new AO collection. I actually love the teal and the blue shirt. They have a different pattern than the white one Wawrinka was wearing.

Any news on if TW is going to get any of them in? I personally like the red one.

TW will get them. The US is always behind Europe in getting Yonex apparel. And usually that site from Cincin. gets them before TW. But I always wait for TW.

Seems like TW hasn't gotten any Yonex clothing since last years Aussie Open whereas TWE has.

We will get some styles but I am not sure when they will arrive. Yonex athlete apparel has not been available to us for some time in the US but we were able to get some this year.

My wife placed an order earlier and out of curiosity I had her ask if there was an updated date on the Yonex clothing. The response was that TW isn't planning on getting any Yonex clothing anytime soon. True? False?

I just don't like the yellow color in his shirt. He has only been wearing yonex for 2 years.....but I love the other colors of this years Melborne shirt, i like the side zipper:

I couldn't wait... I spoke with someone from TW and *** and both said they weren't expecting on stocking any Yonex clothing. So I ordered on TWE. Extremely nice stuff as always. Wish I had gotten the blue instead of the red, so if TW does wind up getting some in ill snag one. Could use a Yonex hat too.

When was the last time that a major champion's shirt was not available on TW? I guess the Djok Uni shirts, but Yonex is a major brand, stinks we can't get it in the US at TW this year.

I bet Lacoste are kicking themselves dropping Wawrinka a couple years ago!

Same thing when Adidas let Djokovic go to start the 2011 season. They probably wish they could have that one back.

Tiffani from Tennis Warehouse has said a couple times that TW will be getting some Yonex clothes in, just no word on what designs and when they will be getting them. As I said above, my wife placed an order after Tiffani's most recent message and asked the TW employee if there were any updates and the employee said that TW has no plans to carry any new Yonex clothes. So who knows what the story is..

I will say I love my Yonex gear.. Not all of their designs are my cup of tea but I know when I order their clothes it will be well made stuff.

Always preferred Sweet Stanley with a crocodile on his chest, but the Yonex get-up is nothing to sneeze at.

    Achhoo!
Kidding. Simple. Clean. The zipper reminds me of Michael jackson back when he was young. I did not really appreciate him when he was alive. He was powerful.

Speaking of lacoste....i miss the days of clement and grosjean. White shorts and a solid lacoste polo.
A cheongasam. I had one of those one late night in chinatown once. Once.

That's what I've been saying for years. At least Richie is trying to keep the look alive. And, wouldn't you know it, he's coached (part-time at least) by Grosjean and Clement.

    ^ Nailed it. ^
    Solid, man. Perfect.
Grosjean and clement had a heck of an aus open once, too. Five set semi, then cle took a rough loss to The A Train.
Grosjean had that odd, clintonian win over AA at rg, too.

Well, here's to simple solids and clean style.

Gasquet is no longer wearing a Lacoste for what it's worth.

I actually liked the shirt they gave to richie wear in Australia. But I hope they go beyond black shorts and white polo.

    Hmm
    Just like the wawrinka
Swings the backhand like he's singin'
    Ooh. ooh. yeah ooh.

    And the days go by.
Yonex shoes, and clothes, and racquets.
    We can do without
    The little zipper
    Right by
    The clavicle.

    Just like the wawrinka
Cracks the backhand like he's singin'
    Ooh, baby ooh, yeah ooh.

    Richard Gasquet:
Excellent, simple threads for last weekend's Davis cup tie against Oz.
A solid royal bleu polo with subtle striping and white shorts by le coq sportif. If this is available in the us, i am buying it. Reminds me of the shoes arthur ashe and yannick noah wore in the 80s.

    Back to stan:
I've always admired his game. i can very easily do without his clothes but the older, red version of his frame...i remember demoing it two summers ago and liking it enough to maybe purchase. But i did not. Now after watching and re-watching his oz open semi and final, i feel a sudden, strange desire for a pair of Yonexes. Hmmm. I am a poseur and a tool.

I am on the edge of stanwagen.

    Just like the wawrinka
Swings the yonex like he's singin'
    Ooh, baby oooh, yeah ooh,
