I watched from the last few games of the 2nd set on. The only thing that he was doing that was obviously wrong was that he was tightening up on 2nd serves from giraldo. Couldn't find the right risk balance on a lot of those shots in the 3rd and 4th sets.

Overall he payed some great clay court tennis to win.

    Go Kei Go.

His game belongs at the Grand Slam stage. Next opponent will really show where his game is after that injury. I can't wait!! Hope the 5 sets didn't take too much out of him.

I'm hoping for like 90 degree weather without a cloud in the sky...then kei might not have to dig out a 5 setter, he needs to stay fresh as possible

Dude has ice in his veins. As long as he is feeling healthy Djokovic could be in trouble. Remember his performance at Delray, and against Nadal on grass a few weeks after that? Hopefully he'll have some good results against top players now that he's feeling better, I don't see him flaking out mentally in any case. He seems to thrive on the big occasions.

Nishikori will be destroyed, I think. Hope he can surprise and lose in a competitive match. But I want Djokovic to go deep, play well, and give Nadal an epic semi.

If he does pull off an upset, I can't wait to see the Japanese media go mental...:)

he still doesnt seem intimidated by high ranked players and doesnt give up when hes down a lot
the rest of his game is pretty average tour wise but he has a forehand that can finish points and moves pretty well, hopefully the 2nd round match is competitive
